OWC Product Warranty
NON-PERISHABLE PRODUCTS
For all non-organic manufactured products, we warranty the product against any and all manufacturing defects. If there is a problem with the product that does not arise from misuse within 1 year of purchase, we will either repair or replace (at our option) the item. You must have a receipt showing the date you purchased the item for the warranty to apply. Any tampering with the product voids the warranty.
PERISHABLE PRODUCTS
For all perishable organic products that we manufacture and sell, we warrant that at the time we ship the product it is viable and not contaminated. We cannot warranty any perishable organic product once it is shipped as we have no control over how the shipping agent stores or transports the item. Warranty of the sterile condition of the media terminates when you break the hermetic package seal in any way, including piecing the package / bag with a needle or cutting it open. This warranty terminates when you introduce foreign material, including spores or cultures of any kind, into the media in any way. We make no warranties as to the colonization rate of the media as we have no control of what biological material and or contaminates you may introduce or in what conditions in which you may do so and what conditions you may have stored the media in or continue to store it in. All warranties are terminated if you handle or manipulate the product outside of a CLASS II or CLASS III Biological hood that has a current certification.
If there are any issues with your order upon delivery, you have four (4) calendar days to notify us of a problem with the order. by email to "orders@mycology-supply.com". If you fail to notify us of a problem within this time frame, we reserve the right to refuse remedying the problem. While we cannot guarantee any replacement, we promise you that we will be reasonable in all assessments and, where appropriate, remedy a problem created by shipping. Purchase of shipping insurance on your order will result in any damage or loss caused by the shipping agent to be remedied by our company.
3rd Party Purchase Returns: Products purchased from an authorized Mycology-Supply.com dealer must be returned to that dealer, and may not be returned directly to OWC.
Refund or Exchange: Customers who wish to return merchandise for exchange or refund must first email orders@mycology-supply.com to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns without an RMA number will not be accepted. The RMA number must be located on the shipping label, and NOT on the box or on the product or its internal container.
Refunds, exchanges and/or order cancellations due to ordering wrong item or changed mind are subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee.
Missing parts, packaging, instructions, warranty cards, etc., as well as damage or blemishes to merchandise will result in higher restocking fees. Restocking fees will be determined after inspecting the merchandise. In the case of product replacements or exchanges, the product on RMA must be received before OWC will send a replacement.
Returns will not be accepted after 30 days from receipt without prior approval by us.
Refunds, exchanges and/or order cancellations due to ordering wrong item or changed mind are subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee.
